RozvojoveVzdelavanie.sk is an internet information centre for Development Education. Slovakia's only web site of this kind, it strives to provide complex information about Development Education, and about governmental institutions, foundations and NGOs working in the field of development education, development aid, human rights, civil society and civic participation in Slovakia and abroad.

The web site carries current news and information on events, projects, publications, and campaigns, it offers a chat-room for public discussions, opportunity to publish various articles and access to a Virtual School of Development Education, where you can find a terminological glossary, learn about Development Education and what it means in Slovakia. The Virtual School offers ideas on theoretical and practical approach to education by offering selected educational activities and on-line games for students.

There are also many methodical brochures, toolkits and helpful publications which can be downloaded free of charge in .PDF format. Some of these have been published by Slovak NGOs, others are from the Czech Republic, UN organisations, etc. There is also a Links section, full of references to other publishers and publications, including many texts available in the Slovak Pedagogic Library, Finally, the site offers a gallery of photos, which can be downloaded free of charge for non commercial use.
